The straight lintel is carved with a continuous Greek-key frieze and a restrained central motif, resting on fluted jambs with softly chamfered edges. Colour tones range from chalky ivory and warm beige to pale grey with natural stone flecking; traces of the original patina remain.
Rare, design-friendly dimensions: overall approx. W 155 × H 104 × D up to 38 cm; fire opening W 129 × H 88 cm; shelf projection 32 cm.
