Article 4 — Prices

1. All prices are exclusive of VAT, taxes, packaging, shipping costs and any import duties, unless otherwise stated. The final VAT rate can only be displayed correctly after the delivery address has been validated.
2. For orders outside the EU, VAT is not charged. Any customs duties or local taxes are entirely the responsibility of the customer.
3. Luxtile Au Coin Du Feu SA reserves the right to change prices. Obvious errors or mistakes are not binding.

Article 5 — Condition of Goods

1. The goods are authentic antique or historic objects and are sold in the condition described and shown on the product page, including the stated signs of wear, age-related characteristics and any restorations.
2. The customer may inspect the goods before delivery or dispatch, either personally or through an appointed third party.
3. Choosing not to inspect the goods beforehand and paying for the order do not affect any applicable statutory consumer rights.
4. The antique, unique or restored nature of an object does not, in itself, exclude the statutory right of withdrawal. For returns and withdrawal, please refer to our ‘Shipping & Returns’ page. Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain applicable at all times.

Article 6 — Delivery and Ownership

1. If shipping costs are not automatically calculated, the customer will receive a separate quote within 12 hours.
• Acceptance = order confirmed and shipped.
• Rejection = order cancelled free of charge.
2. If the customer arranges transport (Ex Works / FCA Incoterms), the order is automatically confirmed and the customer is notified once the goods are ready for collection.
3. Place of delivery is always Luxembourg.
4. Ownership transfers to the customer only after full payment of the invoice.

Article 7 — Customs UK & Ireland

1. Shipments to the United Kingdom and Ireland require customs clearance.
2. The carrier appoints a customs broker, requiring a permanent power of attorney from the customer.
3. Private customers without an EORI number must state: “Private Person”.

Article 8 — Customs & Transport to Romania

1. All goods transported internationally by road—whether involving intra-Community or extra-Community imports or exports—must be declared in the RO e-Transport system.
2. Goods weighing more than 500 kg or having a value exceeding RON 10,000 are subject to mandatory declaration in the RO e-Transport system.

Article 9 — Payment

1. Payment must be made exclusively to the specified bank account.
2. Restoration, packaging or shipping will only take place after full payment has been received.

Article 10 — Governing Law and Jurisdiction

1. All contracts and transactions are governed exclusively by Luxembourg law.
2. Jurisdiction lies with the courts of Luxembourg, to the exclusion of other jurisdictions.
3. Note: For consumers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws apply, including the right to bring claims in the consumer’s home country.

Article 11 — Dispute Resolution

1. The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform: http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Article 12 — Liability
