Shipping quotes are provided at check-out after validation delivery method and address. However, we recommend you to finalise the order with option Ex-Works and we will provide you within 12 hours the best possible shipping quote, Delivered Front Door DAP Incoterms.

What is Front Door Delivery. (DAP-Incoterms Terms Out of Europe).

  • Delivered to the first available area outside of your house or building (front door, porch, landing area, garage, etc.) with a trans-pallet.
  • Includes item collection, packing, shipping and full insurance. 
  • Does not include unpacking, inspection, assembly nor installation.
  • The client is responsible for customs clearance costs, eventual taxes and duties. 
  • Most of our goods are more than 100 years old or unique. All items over 100 years old were considered to be antiques which are exempt from US import taxes. Goods deemed to be works of art and unique were also exempt from import taxes. However import tariffs USA are undergoing changes for the moment.

USA :

By Air:

- USA Import costs to Merchandise Processing Fee (MPF) is 0.21% of imported value, subject to a minimum of $25 and a maximum of $485.

- Storage over 8 days in the shipper’s warehouse (not for Fedex quote nor for DHL).

By ship: Delivery from the port to the final destination (included in the Fedex quote).

-Harbor maintenance fee (HMF) amounts to between 0.1% and 0.2% of the invoice amount.

  • Please make sure the item will fit through any doorways, hallways, stairwells or elevators.

Signature is required at delivery.

  • In the rare case, which has never happened yet (all satisfied customers.❤️), that you need to return an item, we will need notification within twenty four hours of delivery. No goods will be accepted for credit, replacement or repair unless previously agreed in writing. At our discretion a handling charge in respect of returned goods shall be levied at 20% of the invoice value. Return transport costs shall be borne by the customer who must ensure goods are packaged back in a suitable manor.
  • No goods shall be accepted for return after a period of fourteen working days after delivery.
  • Personalised and/or customised products will not be taken back.

UK & IE :

When goods are shipped to the UK or Ireland, customs clearance is required. The courier or freight company uses a customs broker to handle this on your behalf. However, they need your authorization to proceed — this is what's referred to as a “standing authority.”

Under “GB EORI Number” Field:

If you're not a company with a registered Economic Operators Registration and Identification (EORI) number, you should write: Private Person

This indicates that you are importing as a private individual, not a business entity.

ℹ️ Additional Notes

EORI Numbers are usually needed for businesses trading with the UK. Private individuals do not require one for occasional imports.

A standing authority typically allows the broker to clear this and potentially future shipments for you.
