Authentic 18th-century French Louis XIV surround carved from Rose de Bourgogne hard stone from the Burgundy region.
Warm rose and coral hues with subtle ochre and berry mottling enhance the molded cornice, arched lintel, paneled end-blocks and scrolled, fluted jambs.
The surface is smooth with superb age-related imperfections and expert stone-mason restorations; wear consistent with use.
