This late 20th century French marble stone fireplace surround from the Burgundy region combines compact proportions with a refined architectural presence. Its sober yet elegant design makes it ideal for interiors where natural stone, symmetry and timeless character are essential.
The mantel is composed with a clean architectural shelf, a gently profiled frieze and two unusually elegant jambs. The front edges of the jambs are softly rounded and subtly moulded, giving the surround a refined vertical movement.
