This is a fabulous original antique fireplace surround with remains of the original patina in limestone. The panels on the front gives it a more refined look for a French country decor. The size is unusual small for this kind of mantel. This makes it suitable for a French country decor in smaller room. It was built in the Louis XIV period, 17th century. Works perfect for a square fire box.
