This limestone French country original fire mantel has a diamond point detail on both sides of its front. A little remains of the original patina is an extra. The limestone is also from the harder kind and when waxed will reflect light. The front is also projected in the room. This is a rare mantel in great condition.LXIV period, 18th century.
