A French Henri the XIV period exceptional fireplace surround. The fossil stone out of the Beaujolais region has a color and detail that it is mostly used in timeless, modern to contemporary interior designed rooms. The 3 solid blocks are pure and reflect the light in the room. One can find a likewise museum piece in the bespoke Château de Bagnol. The mantle is made late 16th century.
