Magnificent French Burgundy hard stone/Marble Fireplace Surround from Corton. This fireplace mantle was installed in a panelling room. The sculpting by craftsman is reflected on the front. The condition, Dans son jus, gives it an extra dimension.Minor restoration on the right under corner of the right jamb. Regency period, 18th century.
