This is a grand French Country Louis XIII period fireplace surround in limestone with original patina. The left side was installed against a wall but is now restored. The remains of the original patina is an extra. Once this one is re-installed it is like it always has been in the house. Also a perfect fit for a country kitchen installation. Images of such installation available. It dates of the 17th century.
